Impact in MENA
Wild Rift is played on a phone
So the barrier to entry is not hardware. It is structure. A MENA player does not need a gaming PC, a desk or a stable home connection to compete at a high level. They need a tournament that starts on time, pairs them fairly, records the result, and tells them where they stand. That is the gap Pyramids Queue exists to close.

Across the two open qualifiers, from 363 distinct players
15 MENA countries represented
All four stages: two qualifiers, the League Stage and the Playoffs
52 distinct teams; some entered both qualifiers
A region that can be counted
436 player entries and 25 declared countries are figures that can be queried, segmented and compared across editions, because they live in a database rather than in a deck. Egypt leads it and Tunisia, at 50 entries, grew into a second community inside Cup 8 itself.
A qualified pipeline, not a recommendation
The teams that leave MENA arrive with ten rounds of Swiss, a full match history, and every result verified by a referee against a published rulebook. The handover is a record, not a reference.
A community that shows up without a broadcast
There is no production truck and no official stream. 18 active creators produced 70 clips and 27 VODs, and they drove registration too: the second qualifier drew more entries than the first with no paid marketing between them.
Figures counted live from the tournament database. Pyramids Cup 8 finished on 23 October: JSK Esports won the Grand Final 3-2 against SBO3A, and both go on to the Rift Legends Regional Groups. The country breakdown is on the region page.
What We Deliver
Tournament Operations
Swiss and bracket design, eligibility and roster checks, referee coverage on every match night, and dispute resolution against a published rulebook. Eight editions run, 5,000+ players, 195 games in Cup 7 alone.
Coverage & Content
Creator-led coverage rather than a single broadcast: seven creators on one event, clip pipelines, VOD archival and a delay policy that keeps competitive integrity intact. Cup 7 reached 107K live views and 5,354 hours watched.
Community & Growth
Discord ecosystem management, a bilingual content calendar, player retention between editions, and regional expansion across MENA. 3.1M+ reach.
Technology & Systems
Four systems on one database: a Discord bot that runs match day, a staff operations platform, this live results site, and the tooling behind them. A result typed in Discord reaches the public standings without anyone re-entering it.
